Ingredients
- 1 wheel Camembert or Brie about 650g
- 1 pack frozen puff pastry (Woolworths all butter puff is a good option) thawed
- 1 jar Cranberry sauce (Try Woolies cranberry and port sauce or Checkers Feast & Forage cranberry and Fig cheese topper)
- Crusty baguette to serve
Method
- Preheat oven to 180C
- Place a sheet of puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Place the wheel of cheese on top and cut a circle around the cheese about 6cm wider all round than the cheese.
- fold the edges of the puff pastry up the sides of the cheese, but don't cover the top
- Cut a shallow cross in the top of the cheese and spoon a dollop of the cranberry sauce on top.
- Brush the puff pastry with 1 beaten egg
- place on baking paper in the oven for 20 minutes
- Serve immediately with the bread
